He is a filmmaker and educator. A native of the Guarani Nhandewa ethnic group, he has been working with audiovisual production since 2010. He has a teaching degree in intercultural training of indigenous teachers from UFMG and has attended several workshops on film direction, screenwriting and editing at the same institution. His work comprises several documentaries addressing indigenous issues, especially research on his own ancestry. He develops his work at the Ethnographic Film Laboratory of UFF, the Indian Museum of FUNAI and the Observatory of Indigenous Schooling of UFMG. He took part in the 19th and 21st editions of the Festival of Documentary and Ethnographic Film of Belo Horizonte (2015 and 2017), Mekukradjá – Circle of Knowledge of Indigenous Writers and Directors, Itaú Cultural, São Paulo (2016), among other events.
