He completed a degree in Fine Arts from the Bucharest National University of Arts, and, shortly after graduating, in 1996, he moved to New York where he lives and works. His work is a combination of performance, gestuality and self-awareness, usually shown on city streets and urban settings. He has had solo shows at the Longwood Arts Projects, in Bronx, 1998, and at Art in General, as part of his 1997 project Window. He has featured in collective shows such as: The Last East European Show, at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Belgrade, 2003; Something about Love, at Casino Luxembourg – Forum d`art Contemporain, 2003; KalinderuMediaLad, in Bucharest, 2002; and Unstable Narratives Hartware Medien Kunst Verein, in Dortmund, also in 2002.
