Drawing on his own body and life story, the artist uses photography, video, video installation, and drawing to address black manhood, marginalization, and the recent social and political past of his country. He has exhibited at Biennale de l’Art Africain Contemporain, Dakar (2004), Biennale Africaine de la Photographie, Bamako (2007), and Virginia Museum of Fine Arts, Richmond (2010). He lives between James Mama and Grahamstown.
