A radio presenter and fine artist by trade, he creates poetically formatted, politically concerned work. In the 1990s he worked as a photographer and image editor for newspaper Diário de Pernambuco. In 2003 he graduated in Fine Arts from the Federal University of Pernambuco. He featured in the solo shows Vende-se Esta Cidade, in 2004, at Galeria Vicente do Rêgo Monteiro, Recife; Distante Perto Distante, at Centro Cultural de São Francisco, João Pessoa; Quando Recife Viu New York, at Associação Brasil-América, Recife; and A Idade da Cor, at the Pernambuco State Museum, Pernambuco. Since 1997 he has featured in several collective shows, like the 35th Piracicaba Contemporary Art Salon, in 2003; the 6th Pernambuco Video Festival, in 2004; and CINE PE 2005, in Recife.
