A filmmaker by trade, she creates audiovisual productions whose language resembles that of documentaries. Aside from directing, she is also a playwright and editor. She holds a degree in Cinema and Video from the School of Communications and Arts of the University of São Paulo. She has directed the films Operação Cavalo de Tróia, which won the Best Documentary prize at Festival Mix Brasil and an Honorable Mention at Fórum DOC BH; and Arte na Prisão, both in 2004. In that same year she was in charge of editing the medium-length film Hóspede Americano, directed by Luiz Farias. In 2011 she directed the documentary Japão Pop Brasil, shown on TV Cultura and other channels, about cosplay culture. The film featured sketches in which participants acted out their characters to the fullest.
