Filmmaker; lives and works in São Paulo. She was a screenwriter for children’s shows Mundo da Lua and Castelo Rá Tim Bum, on TV Cultura; Disney Club, on SBT Channel; and Um Menino Muito Maluquinho, on TVE Rio. She collaborated for the screenplays of series Filhos do Carnaval, by Cao Hamburger, and Alice, by Karim Ainouz, both on HBO. In 2002 she premiered her first feature film, Durval Discos, which won the 30th Gramado Film Festival, the APCA prize, and a prize at the Latino Film Festival in Los Angeles. Her second feature film, É Proibido Fumar, won seven prizes at the 42nd Brasília Film Festival, including the Best Film prize, in 2009. She holds a degree in Cinema from the School of Communications and Arts of the University of São Paulo.
