He works mostly with installations and photographs. His work is both based on objects from daily life and entertainment industry artefacts, like toys and magazines. He explores the realm of waste that art is somehow a part of, seeking to create new significance systems. He graduated in Painting in 1968, at Elyül University, and completed a master’s degree in Sculpture in 1992, at Marmara University, both in Turkey. He has featured in shows in several countries such as France, Cuba, Russia and Japan. He won a prize at the show An Autoportrait Competition, in Paris, 2004, and the 20th Performance prize from the Exhibition of Artists on Nowadays in Istanbul, in 2000.
