Director, visual artist and curator. He studied Drama and Production in Film and Television at the Ceará State University (UECE), from 1996 until 2000. His work relies heavily on digital manipulation techniques and low-resolution, low-fidelity recording. One of his primary concerns is with seeking out the poetic poignancy of image in his day-to-day. His works have been featured in exhibitions and festivals in Brazil and abroad. In parallel, he has made music videos for independent artists of the likes of Autoramas, Lucy And The Popsonics, and Wallace Costa. In 2010, he published the book Cinema de  Garagem: um inventário afetivo sobre o jovem cinema brasileiro do século XXI (Garage Cinema: an affective inventory of young Brazilian cinema from the 21st century). Working with performance, he launched the musical intervention projects E Disse que Era Economista (2007), Madame Rrose Sélavy (2009), and Splishjam (2009). He also serves as a juror for exhibition selection committees, including the Selection Committee for III DOCTV, Belo Horizonte (2006), and as a curator, including Programa Horizontes Transversais, the Itaú Cultural Video Show, in Belo Horizonte and Belém (2007) and Belo Horizonte’s Mostra Indie festival (2006-2010). Lives and works in Minas Gerais.
