Musician. Studied classical guitar in the 1970s and started his professional career in the 1980s as a member of the band Zero. In 1985, he formed the band Violeta de Outono, alongside Gabriel Costa, José Luiz Dinóia and Fernando Cardoso. His work flirts with psychedelic, progressive rock-and-roll and free jazz. With the group, he has recorded several albums, among them Violeta de Outono, from 1987; The Early Years, from 1988; and Em Toda a Parte, from 1989. Since the 1990s he has collaborated with the project Invisible Opera Company of Tibet, created in the 1960s by the Australian musician Daevid Allen, with whom he also explores progressive, psychedelic-tinged rock. Lives and works in São Paulo.
