Throughout the 1990s and 2000s, Colombia witnessed a terrible period of violence during which many people disappeared. Without any news of their loved ones, relatives were forced into a perpetual state of waiting and misery. Inspired by their stories, the movie shows the nightly ritual of a man who recovers bodies from a river to return them to their mourners. A reenacting of the country recent history, shot in remote regions of Colombia with local actors and crew, the film is part fiction, part action.
