Filmed at the Yasukuni war shrine and museum in Tokyo. The work explores the surfaces of haunting black and white photographic portraits of Kamikaze suicide pilots placed in glass covered cabinets in the museum. The photographic portraits dissolve in and out of dreamy night time footage of floating neon signs, city, reworked archival footage and the ominous presence of black crows flying though misty landscapes.
