This short-feature documentary was made from footage taken at Febem Tatuapé, the largest youth detention center at the time. Lucila was allowed to enter the facility to film the minors talking and expressing themselves freely to the camera and the microphone, with no mediation. Issues such as freedom, drugs and games are addressed by boys and girls when far from the line of sight of wardens. Through a poetic and informal language, valuing gestures, looks and attitudes, the video breaks with the institutional perspective on young offenders on documentaries and offers us a view of themselves by themselves.
