An experimental documentary about five people seeking asylum in Australia. Structured as a poetic essay, it weaves together personal stories of their journeys from Sri Lanka, Afghanistan and Iraq, of seeking refuge, of living in detention and of their life after release. Conceived as a collaborative project, it is a moving video essay, involving us with stories not widely told in mainstream media.
