The performance Bestiário masculino-feminino, by the poet Waly Salomão, was conceived in association with the installation CineSegredo, by the video artist Carlos Nader. At the entrance to the installation, the spectator comes upon a poster asking each one to place a secret in the box. Once inside, they arrive at a vast empty space where a white light goes on an off in sync with the sound of a basketball bouncing in morse code, which in turn conveys a secret. As the spectator moves forward in the court, one of the projections reveals itself as the side of a large black box where Salomão’s performance takes place. Each audience member receives an animal mask before they enter the venue, where the poet recites some of his texts while a masked black women dances to the sound of live electronic music, and the cackle of a hundred hens.
