In this statement, the artist from Rio Grande do Sul discusses her Capítulo 0 installation, presented during the Southern Panoramas show, at the 18th Festival. An amalgamation of works created at different times and situations throughout her career, the piece, according to Ramos, is the construction of a place without past, present or future, devised as a kind of study room where audience memberes act as investigators. The artist also relates the piece to public archives where narratives are built by putting evidence together. She also discusses the technical apparatus she employed, including a camera she built. Finally, she reflects on the technological advancements she appropriates in her work.
