During a screening of his video As Mãos do Epô (2007), Heráclito discusses the various uses and meanings of palm oil as the starting point from which to understand emblems of Afro-Bahian culture, featured in the former video, which won a prize at the 16th Festival, and in Barrueco (2004) made in partnership with Danilo Barata and featured in the Southern Panoramas show during the 15th Festival.
