The artist talks about his photographies Neo-andina #52, #59, #64, #102, #151, #208 exhibited in the 20th Contemporary Art Festival Sesc_Videobrasil. Neo-andina is a photographic series whose subject is a new phenomenon in Bolivian architecture: the cholets, sumptuous and colorful buildings spread throughout El Alto that celebrate the chola identity and have become a symbol of the political and cultural changes the Andean country is undergoing. The artist states: "I wanted to focus on the local society that allows and enables that architecture."
