Recording of performance by Eder Santos, Paulo dos Santos and Sandra Penna featured in the 20th Videobrasil Festival. The title fuses the Portuguese words for cell, brush and brushstroke. Paulo Santos’s music and Sandra Penna’s poems interact with pre-recorded or live images. The performance revolves around five moments of human physical and emotional development: the cell, childhood, adolescence, maturity and oldness. The work was commissioned by Associação Cultural Videobrasil.
