Nicolas Soares is a curator and artist. Graduated in Arts at UFBA, he holds a master's degree from the Graduate Program in Arts at UFES. He researches the relationship between intimacy and creative processes in contemporary photography, attentive to homosexual issues, to the affirmative politics of blackness and affections.
He is the coordinator of Galeria Homero Massena, in Vitória (ES), guiding his management from two perspectives: the strengthening of the institution on the national scene, promoting a production in Espírito Santo beyond borders, and the decolonial review of the 43-year history of this institution.
