Verinha Blumenau: a escort girl from Santa Catarina, was a big succes in the south of Brazil. After some "symbolic-mystical-sexual' experiences she ends up in Copacabana, transformed into Santa Clara Poltergeist. Therem among other things sghe does some cladestine healing rituals. The partnership of Fausto Fawcett and the "Robôs Efêmeros" band includes various performances in Rio and the record "Império dos Sentidos". In 1990 Fausto wrote Santa Clara Poltergeist and with Marcelo Dantas he thought out a clip for MTV which has become the basis of this show. In Suassunico, Fawcett sees a warning, one of those brought by Death, the "messenger of transformation and primeval violence, which characterises organic substance and ephemeral nature of existence", a warning in the form of a female, in this "purgatorial" country, and delirious arrogance". Among fridges, stairs, altars and other recycled materials made by Luis Zerbini and Jorge Barrão, Regina Soares - the Santa Verinha of Blumenau Poltergeist - performs her miracles wearing costumes made by Mari Stockler and Tereza Tillett, who also lends her voice. The music is by Fausto and the "Rodôs Efêmeros" (Carlos Laufer and Marcelo Alexandre), and the video by Sergio Meckler, Felipe Sá and Karen Harley. Special guest: Dado Villa Lobos.
