The Videojornal, aka Videojornow, a "mini-TV station," reviewed, recreated and portrayed the Festival’s events. It was also a means for organizers and audience to communicate.

Videojornal opened its daily broadcasts with an eight-minute program presented live by Carlos Moreno. The team had a full-blown studio equipped with Betacam SP technology to work with and made international interviews using videophone; the programs were rebroadcast by TV Cultura.

Videophone, a then-newly launched medium by SISGRAPH-92 (USA), enabled live interviews with artists in the United States, and due to its itinerant character, travelled the country from coast to coast during the Festival.
