Fifteen programs series probes issues addressed by International Contemporary Art Festival SESC_Videobrasil

The Videobrasil’s programme on SESCTV serves as an additional platform for fruition of the exhibitions and activities. Through Videobrasil on TV series SESCTV extends the fruition of the Festival’s artworks and actions to diverse audiences, bringing them closer to prominent issues and expressions in contemporary production. For such, it departs from a coverage model to bring important aspects of current artistic practices to the audience, such as geopolitical relations in art and the impact of exchange and residency programmes on contemporary production.
First shown September 26, 2011, through January 2, 2012, the 17th Festival’s programme on SESCTV is structured around three sections: historical and conceptual issues; contemporary production; and audience participation. Each edition is devised as a space for creating, reflecting, and building meanings surrounding contemporary artistic production.
Watch this complete series dedicated to 17th Festival and get ready to the following programs, to be aired together with upcoming Isaac Julien: Geopoetics exhibition, to be open September.
