Artists reconfigure time and space in architectural projects by Lina Bo Bardi in group show The insides are on the outside

Now open to public visitation, the exhibition The insides are on the outside | O interior está no exterior occupies simultaneously SESC Pompeia and Casa de Vidro, in São Paulo. Both spaces, designed by architect Lina Bo Bardi, receive works that dialogue with its architectonic project, deconstructing the history of these constructions. This effect is more accurately observed in Casa de Vidro, where Bo Bardi and her husband lived for years: all works directly relate to the house, its architectonic conception and the couple's personal memorabilia. According to curator Hans Ulrich Obrist, the spatial reconfiguration of an architectonic space opens up the possibility, to both exhibition and curatorship, of rearranging time.

Participate in the show, among others, artists featured in Videobrasil projects: Cinthia Marcelle, Dominique Gonzalez-Foerster, Isaac Julien, Jonathas de Andrade and Olafur Eliasson.
