A public program activity of the the exhibition Videobrasil in Context #2 happens with talk between the artist and the curator and professor Galciani Neves

May 28 (Saturday), 3 pm, at Galpão VB, Vitor Cesar (Brazil) releases the publication Anfibologia, tradução, commissioned under the Videobrasil in Context project and created during his residency at Warsaw’s A-I-R Laboratory in May and June, 2015. The book is also the title of the artwork on display on the walls of Galpão VB, a development of the work he exhibited on the streets of Warsaw during his residency. During the launch event, Cesar will discuss his artistic exploits with the professor and curator Galciani Neves.

ABOUT THE ARTIST

Vitor Cesar (Fortaleza CE, Brazil, 1978) Visual artist and designer. His art practice builds on different notions of what’s public and on aspects of everyday life. He develops graphic projects in collaboration with artists and cultural organizations.


ABOUT THE PARTICIPANT

Galciani Neves (Fortaleza, Brazil, 1978) Critic and professor. She holds a master and doctoral degree in communication and semiotics at Pontifícia Universidade Católica de São Paulo. Coordinates the Post Graduate Degree Práticas Artísticas Contemporâneas at Fundação Armando Álvares Penteado (FAAP), São Paulo, where she also teaches.
