Here, the Cronópio (a term coined by Argentine writer Julio Cortázar) camera (an eight-lens Lomo Oktomatic) is used as a pad for notes and visual observations, similar to those of an explorer. Frame by frame, in the face of the discovery of a light source that pulsates in constant motion, the work causes a certain amount of vertigo, opposing the picturesque natural landscape in the background. Two adjoining gardens translate the three films transferred into video that comprise this piece:Mar and Folhas (Jardim efêmero) (Sea and Leaves [Ephemeral garden]) and Jardim fantástico (Fantastic garden).
