Cronópio2009, video installationLetícia Ramos

This recording of an entire day played back, from dawn until dusk, in the area of heavy traffic known as Largo de Pinheiros square, in São Paulo, borrows its title from the work of Argentinean writer Julio Cortázar. Shot using three eight-lens cameras, the video uses a system especially developed for the projection itself, which highlights unstable urban codes. It is assembled directly against the light beam that leaves the projector lamp through a transparent two-sided acrylic screen towards the center of the room.
