This video, made in the downtown streets of the city of Curitiba, Paraná, includes procedures of performance and journalistic work. A film crew conducts a survey with passersby, asking them questions about art, in foreign languages. Incommunicability between interviewer and interviewee is the key issue here, where everything conspires to emphasize the distances between art and the public. Intended to be a site-specific work, to be installed in an exhibition site along with other works of art, this is the first in a series of five videos (three are still underway) that approach the conflicts between art, the audience, and the exhibition site.
