The work consists of the projection of photographic images onto a curtain of smoke that comes together and then comes apart in approximately twelve seconds. In this short period of time, the volatile screen offers only a relative visibility of images, distorting them, deforming them, and providing them with thickness and motion. It is, therefore, a mechanic device that generates motion in still images, akin to the first experiments in cinema. The projections include four programs: period movies, romance movies, thrillers, and war movies.
