The artists give a statement during the 14th Festival. That edition featured the show Possible Narratives – Art Practices in Lebanon, a partnership between Videobrasil and curators Akram Zaatari and Christine Tohme. The event marked a massive influx of Middle Eastern artists to Associação’s collection, which grew both in quantity and quality. Zaatari describes how he was taken aback at first upon receiving proposals from some of the shortlisted artists who wished to work with archives. Raad, in turn, speaks on the universe that originated from his project, The Atlas Group, which is the theme of the lecture-performance The Loudest Muttering is Over, presented during the show.
