During a lecture-performance, at the 14th Festival, Raad explains the mission and presents The Atlas Group’s archives, a project which he created in 1999 to reconstitute and document the recent history of Lebanon, mostly the period of the civil war (1975-1991), from a non-occidentalized view. As in a sort of data bank in progress, photographic images and memories gathered through the most varied sources come to reveal cuts that elucidate specific issues on the recent history of the nation, the war and the Palestinian conflict.
