Director general: Hugo Prata; Text editing: Gabriel Priolli; Presenter: Astrid Fontenelle; Production and camera: Geraldo Anhaia Mello
For the first time, the Festival received full coverage with Videojornal, a daily e-magazine. Coverage of the 6th Festival’s second day featured conversations with artists in the competitive show, among them Ruth Slinger and Lucila Meirelles, and statements from the general public. The “recordar é viver” segment (to reminisce is to live), featured the winning videos of the 2nd Festival, highlighting Eletricidade, by Alfredo Nagib. The international show guests Aysha Quinn and Daniel Minahan were presented. Competitive show highlights included the video Ora Bolhas, by Slinger, and II Movimento de Abertura da Sinfonia Panamérica, by Meirelles. The pioneering program was produced in a mini studio with Super VHS equipment that fed images to a closed-circuit TV system comprising 60 monitors. The program was shown on a daily basis to the audience at the Festival and rebroadcasted by TV Gazeta.
