iWith a master’s degree in the fine arts from the University of Illinois, Chicago, USA, Alsharif works with photography, film, and video. She has presented work at numerous festivals and shows, including the Manifesta 8 Biennial (Spain, 2010), the Toronto International Film Festival (Canada, 2010), The London Palestine Film Festival (England, 2010), Rencontres Internationales, Paris (France, 2009), Images du Moyen‑Orient Musée du Jeu de Paume (Paris, 2007), and ARTEAST – the New York Cinema East Film Festival (USA, 2007).
