A graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdansk, Poland, Baumgart works with video, installation, and sculpture. She has participated in exhibitions at the Brooklyn Museum of Art (New York, USA), Museum on the Seam (Israel), and NKB (Berlin, Germany), among others. She has exhibited individually at the Zacheta Gallery in Warsaw, Poland, and her work features in the collections of the National Gallery of Art Zacheta (Poland) and the European Parliament.
