A graduate in the visual arts and art history, and holder of a master’s degree from the University of London, Cardoso works at the crossroads between speech, pedagogy, performance, and sculpture. He has presented work at the Museo Reina Sofía, Madrid, Spain; the Institute of Contemporary Arts, London, England; Centre de Cultura Contemporània, Barcelona, Spain; and Centro Cultural São Paulo, among others. He is a member of the research group on the Studies Program at the Museu d’Art Contemporani de Barcelona (2008) and winner of the Exhibition Abroad prize from the Fundação Bienal de São Paulo (2010). He teaches art history at the Faculdade Zumbi dos Palmares, São Paulo, and is founder of PPUB (Party for the Brazilian Utopia).
