Soft Turns is the collaborative effort of artists Sarah Jane Gorlitz (Winnipeg, Canada, 1978), and Wojciech Olejnik (Białystok, Poland 1975). They have been working on video installation and stop-motion animation projects since 2006. The idea of an ever-changing space between the foreign and the familiar, the accessible and inaccessible, is a central theme of their practice. They have held solo exhibits in Canada and the United States, and participated of group exhibitions in Germany, Brazil, Poland, Portugal, Norway, the United States, and France.
