His narratives and images, lying between document and fiction, personal and impersonal, draw on the landscape of his homeland, childhood memories, and the historical and political context of Vietnam. He exhibited films at the 37th Clermont-Ferrand Film Festival (2015), 61st Oberhausen Film Festival (2015), and Les Rencontres Internationales Paris/Berlin (2016). He lives in Buon Ma Thuot.
