TV director, he has worked at the leading channels in the country. He started his career on TV Vila Rica (currently TV Bandeirantes), in Minas Gerais, in the journalism department. He moved to São Paulo, where he worked at TV Gazeta from 1987 to 1990 as a director-general and producer. On the same channel he created the project TV Desindexada. He also directed the show Clip Trip Parade, on TV MIX, and the show Fogo Cruzado, with the journalist Alexandre Machado. From 1991 on he directed the talk show Sucesso, by the production company Miksom, aired on Rede Manchete. The show featured renowned people like Isabella Rossellini, Jane Fonda, Franco Zeffirelli, Federico Fellini, and Ted Turner. From 1994 to 1997 he was the art director of Canal 21, implementing the concept of live local journalism. Finally, from 1998 to 2000, he worked at TV Cultura, where he took part in creating productions like the Cultura 30 Anos project (which won him an Emmy in 1999); Provocações, and As Faces do Mundo. He was also a director at DirecTV, a paid TV operator which pioneered digital broadcasting and pay-per-view in Brazil. He holds degrees in History and Journalism. Lives and works in São Paulo.
