Gaston Duprat
Gaston Duprat (Argentina, 1969) works as an independent producer and film director. He also writes scripts and creates TV shows in his country. His first video work, "Ciudad en Gris" (Gray City), was produced in 1989. He carried out over 20 projects, including fiction and experimental videos and TV shows. His work has been exhibited in Paris, New York, Madrid and Buenos Aires. He received many awards, among which the Konex Prize in the video art category, stands out, as it is a recognition of the five most important artists of the decade; it took place in Buenos Aires, in 2002.
