Motta and Lima studied the arts at FAAP and have worked together ever since. They have held solo exhibitions at Paço das Artes (São Paulo, 1999 and 2004), Centro Cultural Britânico –13th Festival Cultura Inglesa, São Paulo (2009), Hiap Project Room (Helsinki, Finland, 2007), and Koh‑I‑Noor (Copenhagen, Denmark, 2007). Among the group exhibitions and institutions that have featured their work are the Design Space (Tel Aviv, Israel, 2010), Oca/Parque do Ibirapuera (São Paulo, 2010), New Museum (New York, USA, 2010), Factoria (Havana, Cuba, 2010), MAM‑BA (Salvador, 2009), Videographe (Montreal, Canada, 2009), and Substitut (Berlin, Germany, 2009). They participated in the 10th Havana Biennial (2009) and at the 1st World’s End Biennial in Ushuaia, Argentina (2007). Their work can be seen in such collections as the Cisneros Fontanals Art Foundation (Miami, USA), Maison Européenne de la Photographie (Paris, France), and Pinacoteca do Estado de São Paulo.
