Has a degree from the Communication and Art Institute, in Chile; he received a fellowship to perfect his studies at the Syracuse University, United States. Since 1995, he works with video and his works were exhibited in North and South Americas, Europe and Japan. Currently is an assistant-professor at the Mercer County Community College and makes lectures in American universities. His experimental work in video, Internet and installations has a strong signature in the editing of images and the operation of the camera. Has a prominent interest in human landscapes which involve migrations, diasporas and displacements. Was selected for a residence period at the Akademie Solitude, in Stuttgart, Germany, in 2004.
