She creates networked, internet-based pieces combining writing, photography, sculpture, animation and design. Her raw materials are objects from the past, found in the trash or at charity sales, with which she creates stage designs and scripts and makes them available online for the audience to navigate. Thus, her work is a mix of narratives by the artist herself and the users. She holds a degree from Nova Scotia College of Art and Design and a master’s degree in Literaturas Francófonas e Ressonâncias Midiáticas (Francophone Literature and Media Resonances) from Concordia University. She has held solo shows at the NSCAD’s Anna Leonowens Gallery, in Halifax; the Khyber Centre for the Arts, in the same city; Galerie Sans Nom Co-op Ltée, Moncton; and at the Maison de la Culture Rosemont/Petite-Patrie, in Montreal. Collective shows include New Media/No Memory, at the Centre for Art Tapes, Halifax; Re-make, Re-Model at the Art Gallery of Nova Scotia; and Reflets V at the Maison de la Culture Marie-Uguay, in Montreal. Lives and works in Montreal.
