Visual artist and filmmaker. He completed a degree in international relations from Pontifícia Universidade Católica in Minas Gerais, Belo Horizonte, 2010, and studied ethnographic cinema at the University of Toronto, Canada. Currently, Jardim mostly does documentaries and experimental videos. He works in partnership with other artists in the independent art collective DuRolo, which discusses how different languages interlock in collaborative creation processes. His films have been shown at major exhibits and festivals, including Pocket Films at the Centre George Pompidou in Paris, France (2008); and won prizes at the Rio de Janeiro International Short Film Festival (2007); Festival de Tiradentes (2008); Mostra Minas de Cinema e Vídeo, Belo Horizonte (2008 and 006); and Vitória Cine Vídeo (2007). Gustavo Jardim has collaborated for training programs in audiovisual and cultural management. Gustavo Jardim lives and works in Belo Horizonte.
