Milena de Almeida is a journalist who has already worked as an editor, reporter and producer in magazines, newspapers and TV shows. Coordinated the Educação em Ação newspaper of the Dr. Ernane Vilela Lima State School, in Nepomuceno (MG), in partnership with the Ministry of Education. Produced, directed and edited the video documentary XX, which was awarded the Jury Special Prize in the 9th Vitória Cine Video, 2002, the Best Video Documentary Award in the II Varginha Film Festival, 2003, the Best Direction Prize in the 7th Mercosul Video Show, 2003, and the 5th Best Video Prize elected by the ecumenical jury in the 8th Universitary Film Festival, in 2003.
