Andina 9o2 is a fictional documentary in which La Ferla, through his alter ego—the reporter and media mogul Richard Key Valdez—tells the story of Pol Barrantes. A Bolivian who travels to Patagonia after earning his PhD in Anthropology in Europe, Barrantes wants to make a work in video with an Andean community, where he will record the ancient process of house building by the peasants. A satire to television documentaries, the work puts into question the virtualization created by the dissemination of images in the globalized world, confirming the uncompromising fictional dimension of documentary.
