A contraction of “north” and “techno”, an expression used to describe the sonority created by artists from Tijuana, Mexico. Its visual counterpart are video images that reinterpret aspects of the city. In the performance, DJs and VJs manipulate live sound and images produced according to this concept, invoking a spirit similar to the catharsis seen in raves, but here full of aesthetic intentions.
