1st Festival award ceremony, held at MIS-SP | August 14, 1983
Marcos Gaiarsa, the Festival’s communications director, hosted the award ceremony. Before presenting the awards, Gaiarsa invited a few people to speak, such as Henrique de Macedo, representing Fotoptica, Ivan Ísola, representing MIS-São Paulo, and Gabriel Priolli, representing the jury. Priolli outlined the jury’s award criteria. The ceremony closed with a screening of the winning works.
