The artist from São Paulo discusses her drawings shown in the 18th Festival’s Southern Panoramas show. She talks about the large Livro Aberto series of which they are a part. She walks through the process of creating the pieces, based on a family library she inherited. She explains the techniques used and reveals the influences that permeate each of the pieces, especially Jorge Bodanzky’s feature film Iracema, uma transa amazônica.
