Maya Watanabe, winner of the Res Artis residency, presents her piece Escenarios II, a video installation consisting of a 360 panoramic take in loop, of a desert landscape where we see a burning car, rubbish and desolate hills.  The artist talks about how she meant to deal with the armed conflicts in Peru between the 1980s and 2000s in an honest way, without letting her position neglect the position of others. Therefore, as she describes, she resorted to open images that alluded to this conflict while, at the same time, falling back upon personal memory.
