During the Trilogia exhibition, a brochure of texts on Cinthia Marcelle’s oeuvre will be available for purchase at Galpão VB. Produced and printed in-house, the publication features contributions by Bernardo José de Souza, Björn Geldhof, Fabio Cypriano, Isobel Whitelegg, Júlia Rebouças, Jochen Volz, and Marilá Dardot, produced over the past 10 years and originally released in newspapers, magazines and catalogs.

The brochure is an attempt, albeit minimal, to respond to the dearth of good texts about Brazilian contemporary artists by pairing together articles, short essays and critiques, some of which were written for the fleeting moment of a given exhibition or a printed daily, and therefore were not read much, or very quickly so. It is also the result of a desire to offer the public a set of views that, while never intending to arrive at definitive interpretations, open up important vistas for understanding the work of Cinthia Marcelle.
