Videobrasil's director integrates the board of the European prize

Solange Farkas, director and curator of Associação Cultural Videobrasil, is a member of the advisory board responsible for appointing artists who will compete for the first EYE Prize in January 2015. Jaap Guldemond, director of exhibitions at the EYE museum in Amsterdam, leads the committee composed by Hungarian filmmaker Gyula Gazdag; Marc Glöde, German historian and critic; Sunjung Kim, curator and professor at the Korea National University of Arts; and the Italian Andrea Lissoni, Tate Modern’s curator of film and international art.

Created by EYE, a Dutch museum entirely dedicated to film, in collaboration with England’s Patrick & Joan Leigh Fermor Arts Fund, the prize aims to support artists and filmmakers whose productions are based on the complex relationships between contemporary art and cinema.
